Tyler Alcorn brings strong experience in state and local government relations, investments, and corporate marketing to TAG Holdings where he joined as Director in August 2006.
Mr. Alcorn previously served as Vice President and General Manager at a privately held, wholesale distribution business. He coordinated all divisions of the company, which employs 1,100 people in 130 locations nationwide, and managed consecutive years of double-digit growth. Tyler held several positions at the firm, including Director of Business Development, Regional Account Manager, and Vice President for Sales and Marketing.
In 1999 and 2000, Mr. Alcorn was part of Sen. John Ashcroft’s record-breaking reelection campaign finance team. Prior to the campaign, Mr. Alcorn was liaison to business and community leaders for Ashcroft and his U.S. Senate colleague Christopher “Kit” Bond. In that role, Tyler cultivated an understanding of the collaborative relationship between government and private industry and an appreciation for the issues most vital to private industry.
Mr. Alcorn received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri- Columbia. He serves on the Board of Directors for the St. Louis Police Athletic League, and KidSmart, Inc., non-profit organizations that help St. Louis children develop skills they need for success. He earned his series 7 & 63 Securities Licenses in 2008.
Tyler and his wife, Tracey, have two young daughters, Annie and Caroline.
